Maple Handpan brings together years of musical performance, teaching and hands-on instrument development.
Maple Handpan was developed by experienced musicians and music educators with years of experience in teaching and live performance. We approach every instrument from a musician's perspective — focusing on tone, tuning, response, playability and the connection between the player and the instrument.
Our handpans have been played and evaluated by more than 50 students, musicians, teachers and experienced handpan players. Their real-world feedback helps us continually refine the sound, feel and playing experience of our instruments.
We believe a handpan should do more than look beautiful. It should respond naturally, feel intuitive in your hands and inspire you every time you play.
We play them, teach them, test them and continue refining them. Our goal is simple: to create instruments that experienced musicians enjoy playing and that new players can connect with from their very first notes.
